This app is very frustrating it crashes and shuts down after every chapter. And many of the chapters are as short as 3-5 min. You have to re-open the app and re find your place after every chapter is read. It also requires an Internet connection to work so I cannot listen in the car. This is the case on both mine and my boyfriends phone. It has great audio content and quality but in the end it is not worth buying at this time And we would love a refund.
Spend your money elsewhere
Many chapters are missing, the app crashes a lot, you can not keep track of where you are in the app so you have to remember where you left off yourself. Not sure how this got accepted into the iTunes Store.
Not worth 10 Dollars
I have a hard copy of the book the 7 habits of highly effective people and I think it is a great book. I purchased this app so that I could listen to it while I am working. The app is very unstable. It constantly has file errors and will stop playing and make you restart what you were listening to. Also the audio files are out of order. It would be nice if they were grouped by chapters not sections. Please consider fixing this app and I would be happy to revise my review. Until then I would not suggest anyone else to purchase this app.
Stay away until they fix a LOT of issues.
This app has a ton of issues. It obviously was not tested before being thrown out to the masses for profit. - The audio quality is pretty bad. High pitch and fuzzy. - apparently the audio is streamed live from a slow server. I have found it almost impossible to fast forward more that 2 or 3 times before it fails to load. - The app resets all settings every time it is opened. If you set volume and are in the middle of a track, you will be back at the home screen with volume set at 50% and the track at the start the next time you open it. - The app will crash without reason and be reset to defaults when it is opened again. - if you reduce the app to text or email, it will open and immediately crash. - The volume slider is nearly impossible to get to come up and when it does, the volume goes to max even though the slider has not moved from center. - The notes section will delete your notes when the app crashes and you are unable to scroll the text on the notes screen, it just continues to go "under" the keyboard. - Audio tracks do not automatically advance to the next one when complete, they just repeat. - to get to the next audio track, you have to go back to the home screen and dig through the titles to find the next track. - this is a prime example of greed. Just throw it out and make as much as we can before it gets a bad enough rap that no one else will try it!!!
Great book, terrible app
The book is great but the app does not function as it should. There are to many problems with it.
